Five questions to ask before placing a first order

First, what is the factory's real capacity for your product type, not their total capacity across all lines.

Second, who owns the critical path. If nobody can name the person chasing yarn booking, nobody is chasing it.

Third, what happens if the fit sample fails twice. Agree the process before you need it.

Fourth, which inspection standard applies and who pays for a re inspection.

Fifth, what is the escalation route when a date slips. You want a name and a phone number, not a shared inbox.
